BIO

Josh is one of Manhattan Prep’s most veteran instructors, who prides himself on constantly striving to master his craft. He believes that it is the job of a teacher not merely to impart knowledge, but to inspire a passion for learning and discovery, igniting a flame that will burn in all aspects of a student’s life.

Josh has worn quite a few hats at Manhattan Prep over the years: he headed the project of authoring quant questions for Manhattan Prep’s legendary CAT exams, he contributed substantively to a number of Manhattan Prep strategy guides, and he helped train instructors both online and in-person as head of instructor development back in the day. His real passion, however, is working with students, both in a classroom setting and one-on-one, both in-person and online. Outside of teaching, Josh has a “day job” in a profession that most have heard of, but very few understand — homeopathy (and no, it has nothing to do with vitamins, herbs or acupuncture). For fun, he enjoys traveling and learning languages, singing, playing guitar and doing just about anything that involves spending time with his wife. Josh believes that inside each and every one of us, there is a master, waiting to take hold and guide us to a higher level of self-achievement and self-awareness. To reach this level, however, we all have to push past a series of challenges and difficulties. As a teacher, he hopes to help inspire you and guide you to a set of skills that will not only help you navigate the intellectual challenges of the GMAT, but that will also aid you in all that you do.
