{"id":5566,"date":"2013-07-02T10:41:39","date_gmt":"2013-07-02T14:41:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.manhattanprep.com\/gre\/blog\/?p=5566"},"modified":"2019-08-30T16:41:46","modified_gmt":"2019-08-30T16:41:46","slug":"powerprep-ii-for-mac-is-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manhattanprep.com\/gre\/blog\/powerprep-ii-for-mac-is-here\/","title":{"rendered":"POWERPREP II for Mac is here!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/\/www.manhattanprep.com\/gre\/blog\/index.php\/2013\/07\/02\/powerprep-ii-for-mac-is-here\/istock_000016135823xsmall\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5573\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-5573\" title=\"iStock_000016135823XSmall\" src=\"\/\/manhattanprep.com\/gre\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2000\/iStock_000016135823XSmall.jpg\" alt=\"iStock_000016135823XSmall\" width=\"306\" height=\"203\" \/><\/a>Can I use POWERPREP on a Mac?\u009d\u00a0 This is one of the questions most frequently asked by students calling us here at Manhattan Prep.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m happy to say that my answer to this question is now a resounding, YES!\u009d\u00a0 The long awaited introduction of <a href=\"\/\/www.ets.org\/gre\/revised_general\/prepare\/powerprep2\/mac_download\">ETS POWERPREP software for Mac users<\/a> is here!\u00a0 As of July 2013, ETS offers a Mac-compatible version of their terrific practice test software.\u00a0 Mac-loving students will no longer have to worry about borrowing their roommate&#8217;s cousin&#8217;s boyfriend&#8217;s PC to take their practice GRE.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who aren&#8217;t familiar with the software, POWERPREP is free practice exam available directly from ETS, the administrators of the GRE. \u00a0POWERPREP is an excellent resource, one that we recommend all of our students use.\u00a0 The software includes two computer-based tests, sample Analytical Writing topics, scored sample essays and reader commentary, test-taking strategies, a math review, and test tutorials.
