Brett Beach-Kimball

San Antonio, TX

Thunderbird School of Management (MBA)

Brett has been with Manhattan Prep since 2009. In addition to GMAT, he’s taught fourth grade with Teach For America and salsa dancing with his wife.

In addition to teaching in-person GMAT classes in San Antonio and Dallas, Brett has done extensive online work with Manhattan Prep. He’s taught and tutored students around the globe, answered questions and addressed concerns in online forums, and conducted post-exam assessments with students who didn’t quite get the score they wanted the first time and wanted an expert opinion on how to close the gap. He loves teaching students not only the Quant and Verbal skills they need to hit their score goals, but also the problem-solving techniques that really matter on the GMAT…and in life.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he studied Spanish literature. This degree has served two purposes: allowing him to converse with his in-laws and facilitating his life goal of always having visited more foreign countries than he is years old. When you see him in class, ask him about this second purpose so he’ll remember to book his next trip.

When he’s not teaching the GMAT, Brett enjoys running, golf, playing with his children, and anything that gets him out of the house…or the country.
