Rina grew up in a house filled with books and surrounded by bears. Her interests include reading, painting, and fun. She works as an educator and artist, and she has taught art, logic, and math to children and adults throughout New York City. She currently serves on the leadership team of C4Q, a nonprofit that trains low-income adults to become software developers. She also co-runs a basement art gallery called ValeRina Gallerina with her roommate Valerie Skakun.
