Re: Q17 - In a business whose owners

When I looked at this Q I first thought like the previous post, thinking of the net wealth of the family = family prosperity, where I was not so happy with Choice C was here: say I pay my two children lower wages, hence I should get higher profits because my expenses are lower compared to an equally...

Re: Q11 - Building a space station

can a LSAT geek please clarify the stimulus portion meaning of "even if the space station project were to contribute no new knowledge about space or Earth that could not otherwise be obtained"? Here is my interpretation: even if (space station proj) it would not contribute knowledgeX where...

Re: Q16 - Chlorofluorocarbons are the best possible

can a lsat geek please address the following problem with (E)? I don't understand why the answer employed "something other than the cleaners" since is it not possible that we use cleaner #2 (second best), thus cleaner #2 would be able to"make a relatively greater contribution to meeti...

Re: Q12 - Commentator: Recently, arcticles criticizing

The problem I had with (C) was that I equated "appearing regularly in newspapers" with Frequency, I took (C) to be correct because isn't he implying that Winslow's explanation does not address the reason why critiques of serious environmentalism (a subset of environmental movement critique...

Re: Q19 - birds need so much food energy

Still having a bit of trouble with C. I feel like the negation of it would have to assume that the longer time it takes to eat the given amount of nectar is not offset by the concomitant advantage of the increased amount of energy contained in the given amount of nectar. What I mean is perhaps it t...

Re: Q20 - A recent study confirmed that

B is wrong simply because of the word "associated". To take these other dietary factors as causation would be erroneous logic, hence cannot possibly be a explanation to a resolve the paradox .

Re: Q22 - Researchers have found that children

(A) is wrong b/c: As stated before, no establishment of small family or large family is made. My reason for noting this answer is wrong, however, was b/c it simply strengthens the correlation, not the hypothesis. This is the same gap already present in the stimulus b/c it doesn't establish that larg...

Re: Q17 - In order to save money

(A) is wrong b/c we cannot infer this on the grounds that the stimulus talks only about "retail stores that distribute AND accept" coupons. All coupon savy shoppers could know the fact that a store that distributes coupons will charge more for products to compensate for production of them,...
