Wanted Manhattan GMAT Guides

by tejkumar.m Fri Aug 27, 2010 3:06 am

Hi,

I am from Bangalore, India. I would like to purchase couple of books from the 8-set guides. When I tried calling up the numbers (mentioned in the site), one was out of order and the other one was not responding.

1) can you direct me to the right place where I can get these guides? Please...
2) Will I get access for the 6 Online Mock tests if I buy some of the guides?

Please help..

Regards

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us! We do usually answer the phone as soon as it rings, although with the time difference we might have been closed when you tried phoning. Also, I believe the 800 (toll-free) number is only for use within the U.S. That being said, please feel free to call us during the open hours we list on the bottom of the site. These hours are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can also call us via Skype for free on m.gmat or email us at studentservices@manhattangmat.com .

To answer your questions:
1. Yes, you do get access to our CATs with any book purchase, although if you've already taken the first test for free, you'll have access to five new tests with the possibility of resetting them and taking them as many times as you like for your year of access.

2. We do ship to India, so if you buy them from our online store, you would be able to receive them. We also have a list of bookstores in India here: http://www.manhattangmat.com/intl-book-stores.cfm#india I would also suggest trying amazon.com and bookdepository.com for other options. I have also heard from other students (though I cannot vouch for these sites,) that www.flipkart.com and
www.infibeam.com have our books.

Please feel free to call, email or post here should you need anything further.

Best Wishes,
Caitlin Clay

Hi Manhattan,

Thanks for your response.

Apologies if my statement mislead you. What I meant was, I tried calling the numbers in Bangalore which were mentioned in your international stores page and there I could not find any response.

Coming to the purchase, Yea, I can see that the sites you mentioned do have your books for sale. Can you please let me know if there is any store in Bangalore, India where I can go purchase in person? It would help me a lot if you can put down the updated contact details of the stores in Bangalore if you have.

Thank You, as always..

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification! We'll make sure to look into our listed Indian booksellers and update the list as appropriate. In the meantime, the option to purchase online remains. The first chapter is available to view on both our site and amazon, so if you're looking to get a feel for the book, that may help as well.

Best Wishes,
Caitlin Clay
