EIV Chap 6 Qn 3

Hi,

Is there another way to solve this problem?

What I did was this:
G^2 < G
G(G-1) < 0
G < 0 or G < 1
Therefore G<0.

In the town of Z, the lion roars on some days and not on others. If a day is chosen at random from last March, what is the probablity that on that day, either the town lion roared or it rained? Hi Ben,

But the answer in page 97 says "30 (the number of days in March)".
Hence I am assuming 30 days for March.
