however , in the second question, i think that "present" is a transitive verb and there should be a noun following it immediately as well;but as we see, the answer to the second question is B and the verb present is immediately followed by as. so what is the difference between them? pleas...

why should we interpret that "finding" and "citing" are parallel？ we shouldn't! that's the whole point; these things are not parallel. "finding" is parallel to one of the things we're citing, which means we are "citing...finding" which makes no sense. i guess i'm afraid i do...
