Re: Equidistant line to another line

I am somewhat not clear. I guess there might be multiple equidistant lines i.e. A line passing through origin and parallel to segment PQ will also be equidistant and will have the same slope as that of segment PQ... Am I missing something ? Thanks A line parallel to PQ can never be equidistant from...

Re: 780+ CR question #9

I think it should be 'B'. I will think of it as a 'set' problem. Let one circle be of all Actors. This will lie within a circle of Exuberant. Both these circles will lie within the circle of Extroverts. Now a part of the smallest circle, actor circle, can be labeled as 'S' for shy. We don't have eno...

Re: HELP PLEASE --> A painkiller drug......

I would say C. being sold for three times the price that the drug's maker charges for another product. 'of what' comes close but it makes it a bit awkward. being sold for three times the price of what the drug's maker charges for another product. but the drug's maker is charging a price. pmal04 Wrote:Hi Ron,
Can you please explain why choice D is wrong?
Thanks

One simple reason that D is wrong is that it says 'cow' instead of plural. Initial part of sentence which is not underlined uses 'them' referring to cows. So cows have to be used.

Re: Industrialization and modtern methods of insect control have

Hi tutors, Can I know why d is wrong? d. but introducing some 100,000 dangerous chemical pollutants at the same time that have Thanks! One thing that I can see in this choice is that using a participle after but makes it an adjective- 'introducing some 100,000 dangerous...'. But the part before 'bu...

a. second 'which' refers to autobiographies only.
b. doesn't make sense.
c. Even as...still Never seen this idiom before
d. first 'which' refers to Chris Andersen.
