I am having some difficulty understanding why the answer is C. The question asks whether the product of the slope is -1; we have determine that the product of the slopes is negative, but how do we know whether the slope is -1 or another negative number?

Re: franatic selling..

I would guess D, because of the parallelism between Selling and Corresponding. Also, we would use the idiom corresponding with when x is in agreement with why. Corresponding to can also be used, but thats when you compare similar things. In this case, it would be more of an agreeement. Now, that bei...

Re: Tennis Style Help!!

I honestly thought B would be the correct answer since that is the only explanation that differentiates the new styles with the old styles;hence weaking the arguements.

I agree with you on D that it supports the argument more than "weakening" it.

Re: GMAT PREP

Please underline the part that needs correction. It makes it very difficult at times to see what needs to be changed. Thanks.

Re: Thank you Manhattan!! 720(47,42)

I booked slot for GMAT on Dec 7th and bought the 6 CAT test series from Manhattan, the same day. The exam was on Dec 23rd. Hardly 15 days of preparation. Used Manhattan Sentence Correction and CR materials. Took the CATs during weekends. Scores as follows: CAT1 - 680 CAT2 - 640 CAT3 - 630 CAT4 - 69...

I am down to meet anyone that wants to study. If you are interested, email me at Viswanathan.Harsha@gmail.com I think the libraries at rice, or Borders on Kirby, should be a good location to meet up.

Re: GMAT - 720 (Q51, V36)

Did you find the Manhattan GMAT math more difficult than the actual gmat? Also, how did you find the verbal compared to the MGMAT exam, as well?

Re: Running at their respective constant rates, Machine X takes

I believe it is supposed to be 12 (2T-2)=5T(T-2)

This gives you 5T^2-34T+24=0

Giving you t=6
