that is wrong.. it should be x < 1

2x + 2 < 4
add -2 on either side of the equation.
2x + 2 - 2 < 4 -2
=> 2x < 2
=> x < 1

please check the question...there must be an error

Were -- implies past tense.. hence 3 down. (simple) Between A and C: "different from" is more appropriate than "different than" --> Idiom Also , in A: They should divorce and [they should] marry someone... They shou divoice is correct... but they shoudl marry gives a incorrect...

B : 18 P(blue) = 12 / (12+Y) P(blue) < 2/5 so when you solve: 12 /12+Y = 2/5 y = 18 [editor: this is the solution to the equation, not the inequality. the first proper solution to the inequality is the first number greater than 18, which is 19. mind the problem you're solving!] Any other solution.
