Re: When drafting the Declaration of Sentiments that

Hi Ron, I have a doubt in the option E regarding the usage of "that". Are there many Declarations of Sentiments adopted at different places or times? Are we,in this sentence, talking about the one adopted at the Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention in 1948? I have eliminated E,thinking th...

Re: Excavations of the Roman city of Sepphoris...

Re: CR: Manatee

Hi Ron, I want to know the quantitative aspect of "many". If "many" is replaced by "most' in option A,then A would be an equal weakener as E. However,if many" is replaced by "some",then the option A would be Irrelevant. Now,when "many" is used,should...

Re: CR: Manatee

I went wrong in ignoring "some" in the options,so I did a little of unnecessary research work on the words-"some","many",and "most".

Thanks Ron :)

Re: a larger percentage of the gross national

Hi Ron, Please help me with my understanding on this issue pertaining to comparisons. I quickly eliminated options A,B and C by chucking off "their". I eliminated E because I transformed the sentence to- Holland spends a larger percentage of its gross national product on defending its coas...

Re: SC : By recording the noise of crinkled wrappers

you still have parallelism of 2 verbs here. consider: I am not a career counselor but can give you some advice about your situation. the first verb is "am not". the second verb is "can give". similarly: the noise was not continuous but consisted of xxxxxx. Hi Ron, I always dealt...

Re: Narwhals can be called whales of ice: in icy channels, pouds

Hi Ron, I thought "their" annual migrations can refer to either narwhals or the killer whales. Because the first "their" chief predator is clearly referring to Narwhals, all the other"their"s in the sentence must refer to the same antecedent? Is that why this is a correct...
