I kind of agree with the op here. Shouldn't we use "but also" instead of "but" in this sentence? Is "not only... But..." a valid construction on the GMAT?

Why is the subject "music" and not "collections"? I thought that I can simply ignore "of music" as it is a prepositional phrase.
