Re: Should X Must

Actually I do not have a specific example or context. Sorry. But on page 32 Sentence Correction Strategy Guide 6th there is an explanation. The court ruled that the plaintiff SHOULD pay full damages. INCORRECT (morally obliged). A court cannot impose moral obligation. The court ruled that the plaint...

Mprep Question Bank - Geometry - Q6

Hello,

The correct answer on Q6 is option C.

But I call into question this option.

Although I may be wrong, assessesments 1 and 2 conducted me to answer E, since the quadrilateral ABCD can also be a square.

I would appreciate to hear from the instructors and students.

Thanks.

Guilherme.

Geometry - Question Bank - Q6

Is quadrilateral ABCD a rectangle? (1) Line segments AC and BD bisect one another. (2) Angle ABC is a right angle. The correct answer according to the explanation is answer C. I answered E, however, since I understood the quadrilateral can also be a square. Did I miss something? Is (by definition) a...

Let´s see.

Parallelogram: Opposite sides and angles are equal.

Rhombus: Diagonals are always perpendicular bisectors.

Trapezoid: One pair of opposite sides is parallel. Area = avg ((inf + sup)*h)/2

Re: Geometry - Question Bank - Q6

I think so. Parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which: - Each two opposite sides are parallel and equal in lenght - Each two opposite angles are equal in measure - The sum of consecutive angles equals 180 degrees - The two diagonals bisect each other Rectangle is a parallelogram with one right angle...

Re: A Beautiful Pair(3)-CAT4

Hello

How about the following approach, is that correct?

Suppose we do not want one pair of cards numbered 2:

2 / Not 2 / Not 2 / Not 2

(1/12) . (10/11) . (9/10) . (8/9) = 2/33

Multiply by 4 (ordering): 8/33

Multiply by 2 (black or white): 16/33

1 - (16/33) = 17/33
