Anybody please help me to explain more about this problem : MGMAT CAT1 Six mobsters have arrived at the theater for the premiere of the film "Goodbuddies." One of the mobsters, Frankie, is an informer, and he's afraid that another member of his crew, Joey, is on to him. Frankie, wanting to keep Joe...

Re: Anthony and Michael sit on the six-member

Hello, My solution is that ... because 6 people are split into 2 groups so I just try to find the probability to pick 1 group neither Michael nor Anthony. That's also the rate of M & A appear in other group. x x x x M A (3 picks not permutation) 1st : x --- 4/6 2nd: xx --- (4/6) * (3/5) 3rd : xx...

Re: If x is not equal to 0, is |x| less than 1?

Hello, In my opinion, reciprocating is somehow dangerous and eliminating 1/x without knowing 1/x negative or positive is not right. since x < x.[x] and x not equal 0 : 1. if x >0 then 1 < [x] (eliminate x both sides) 2. if x <0 then 1 > [x] (eliminate x both sides) => cant give fin...

Re: The banana vs. Bananas?

Yep, I agree, I also think because lack of comma precedes which.

Re: If x is not equal to 0, is |x| less than 1?

Hello, I suggest you to plug-in with x = -1/2 to see let's try: x/[x] < x <=> (-1/2)/(1/2) < -1/2 clearly : [-1/2] < 1 , in this case [x] < 1 statement : 1 x/[x]< x x=2 ,so 2/[2]< 2 we cannot take any -ve value as doing so will result as below x= -3 ,so -3/[-3] = -3/3 = -1 &l...

Re: CR- When Bob's Bistro opened in the town of Monstrose...

I prefer "D" to "E" in this case. My reason is if Andrew’s Eatery serves variety of food on weekend then it is not relevant to the event of Bob’s Bistro's opening last year.

Re: scientists have dated sharp-edged flakes of stone found in

I think I will eliminate "A" & "B" because of "known that". The idiom " known to " sounds better. So I probably pick "C" or "E".

Please help me to correct if I was wrong !
