Re: Should the Present Perfect Tense always be used with "After"

Thanks for the reply. I found something similar in OG 12. OG 12 says that the verb following after (or once) should be in the present-perfect tense to indicate that the trimming must occur before the tourists arrive. "A propose has been made to trim the horns from rhinoceroses to disocourage p...

a pronoun in a parallel structure, ambiguous or not?

Hi,everyone! I have got a problem with pronoun and its antecent in parallel structure. In ManhattanGMAT 4th page233, you said that if a sentense is in parallel structures, the pronoun and the antecedent should agree in case. In particular, a subject pronoun in one clause often refers to a noun in su...

Hi, instructors, I have two sentenses and need your helps. 1. The particle, appears as X spot on the sun's surface, which has never been seen on the sun's equator. Is the "which" in this sentense clear? Would it ambiguously refer to "surface", not the "spot"? I don't kn...

Re: over 75% of the energy produced in france derives from

Hi, instructors,

I have a question about choice A. "while in Germany it is just over 33%"

I think in choice A, the "it" is not ambiguous because "it" is in a subordinate clause, and it will clearly refer the subject of the main clause.

Can you clarify it?

Re: In no other historical sighting

Hi, ron, Thank you for your great explanation and I finally know why A & D are wrong, because they both compared the wrong elements "the Halley’s Comet" and "its return", which make no sense. However, I don't understand why there are no omissions in this sentense. For example...
