If x = 1, then p = 0. As you pointed out, 0 is divisible by 24, so it is not a counterexample. If x = -1, then p = 0. [(-1)^3 - (-1) = (-1 + 1) = 0] This is also not a counterexample. Therefore it's unnecessary to say x > 1 in order for the explanation to be consistent with the answer. Hello, I ...
