Verbal Tests

by mommykat Mon Jul 22, 2013 9:03 pm

I decided to begin with the verbal tests. I just took one verbal practice test of 20 questions. Is there any way that I am able to see my results before going to the next 20 questions? Or do I have to take all of the verbal tests before I am given a score?

Thank you.

Hey There,

We really recommend you take the full practice tests when using them (as opposed to just doing verbal). Also, I'd recommend you do some reading up on how the test is structured before you take any more tests, because it seems that perhaps you don't quite know how the GRE works.

You get 2 sections of 20 questions in both verbal and quant (plus a 5th section that is either verbal and quant and is experimental and the opening essay section). So a real practice test takes about 3 hours and 45 minutes to do. We recommend you take full-length tests when you do practice tests. If you just want to practice questions, consider getting our 5lb book of practice questions, or else the official GRE guide. Use the practice tests for practicing full-on tests.

Good luck!
