on this question I got that the answer is E but A was tempting. is A wrong because the things don't co-occur but one precedes the other?

This game seems easy enough but I must be missing a key inference or two to alleviate some of the work. Does anyone have a diagram?

I had a difficult time with this question during my last PT, I narrowed it down to A and C. I had a gut feeling C was right, but couldn't quite explain why, and I still am not entirely convinced why it is right.

Could someone provide me with some guidance on this one?

I chose the wrong answer C when I did this question, so I'm going to take a stab at the explanation now - any further clarification is super helpful.

I cannot wrap my head around how answer choice (E) is correct. I changed my answer to (C) right before time was called (thanks virtual proctor!), but now that I'm reviewing #18, none of these answer choices seem ideal.
