Q6 - Recent investigations of earthquakes

Can someone please explain why D is incorrect? I understand why B is correct, but I narrowed it down to B and D ...

My logic was is there is a range of displacement pulse intensity for earthquakes then is is very well possible that there was little significant damage ...

Thanks in advance!

Q1 - While it might be expected

Love this forum!

Slowly increasing my accuracy on LR. Been a slippery slope to climb.

For the most part, I find I eliminate 3/5 answer choices (POE method) and about 4-5X I pick the wrong answer choice out of the two ...

For this Q: It is quite obvious that A B and E can be eliminated ... Leaving C and D

I chose C, in part because it was a flaw in other LR ...

Q10 - The enthusiastic acceptance of ascetic

I don't know why choice (B) is correct. What sample is the sample that theyre referring to that is likely to be unrepresentative? If it's the monastic authors, is it because theyre unrepresentative of authors in general during this time period?

My first choice on this was (C).

Q15 - Often a type of organ or body

I'm having a bit of a unique issue with this question. I can't seem to understand what the question prompt means. More specifically, I don't see how the last sentence in it makes any sense.

"After all, whatever the difference of heritage and habitat, as organisms animals have fundamentally similar needs and so..."

We are then asked to select the answer that most logically completes the sentence. Without an understanding of what the question prompt ...

Q15 - The cost of a semester's tuition

Can you explain how D helps to resolve the discrepancy? If the scholarships are renewed for students who maintain a high GPA, they wouldn't have to worry about tuition increases since they aren't paying for tuition. Or is it because we don't know what the scholarships cover? Maybe it is just books? Or housing? Or is it because the scholarships only impact a subset (students with high GPAs).

Thanks for your help on this one!
