I could figure out why C is the best answer, for the reason that the other answers are not good. However, I still don't understand the exact reason for the correctness of C. After going through the explanation from SuperPrep, I felt that to understand the explanation is more challenging than to answer the question itself.....

I had trouble with this question because the correct choice, D, seems so... undemocratic. Also the word "testimony" in the answer choice confused me, as the people petitioned rather than provided testimony, which doesn't generally require expertise.
I picked choice B because that seems like a flaw in the argument. How would you rule that one out definitively?

I chose (D) for this question and still do not understand why (A) could be the right one. For (A), it states that the last paragragh presents the "consequence" of extreme interpretation. Whereas, I could not find any "consequence" implied in the last paragraph. Isn't there only the description of these extreme views ? Do these extreme views result in any consequence?

The correct answer is (a) I eliminated all of the answers. the reason I did not choose A because it says "best" understood, if it was "better" understood i think it would be the right answer I do not see how we can imply from the stimulus that human lives are best understood please explain thank you!
