I can see why B is correct, but I am having a hard time telling why E is definitely wrong. Isn't the author trying to establish a conflict between "predict" and what "has already taken place" here(the reason why B is correct)? If so, how can E be wrong? Can someone help me figure this out? Many thanks in advance.

I had this question down to B and C, and ultimately chose "B", incorrectly. I see that "C" is a good answer, but I am havign a hard time seeing why "B" is not good.

Is there anyone who can help me with this problem? I got it right by the process of elimination, but couldn't figure out what "assumpitons" in the last sentence refer to and so don't know why (E) is correct.

why is E not the right answer? isnt the assumption that franklin has is that Miller is not capable of altering her handwriting on purpose so Franklin can't tell its her.. that Miller can only write in her true form?

can someone please help me with Q9? It looked very straightforward but I don't understand why C is the right answer. I eliminated down to A and B and then I chose B because when I negate this statement, it could undermine the argument but I guess I'm on the wrong track. Thanks for any help.

C: indeed, if forgery could perfectly duplicate the contour and hatching styles of a famous artist, then this would contradict the fact advanced in the passage that differences in contour and hatching styles can be used to tell forgeries apart from works of famous artists. Perhaps the "CAN" in the passage implies that this is not always possible?

A. Incorrect. Relative information about the number of musicians per band does not allow us to infer anything about the absolute number of amateur musicians.

B. Incorrect. The passage contains no information about professional musicians' ability to play nonelectric instruments
