The punchline: D is incorrect because M2 must wear a Navy hat. How do we get there?

(1) Each M must wear exactly 2 different colors (can't wear all 3, but must have a hat different than jacket)
(2) Because M2 has a navy skirt, that is one of M2's allowable colors. Each of the hat and jacket must be a different one of those allowable colors, so either M2's jacket or hat must be navy.
(3) When we find out that M1 wears a navy jacket that means there are no other navy jackets left.
(4) To satisfy the condition that M2 must either have a navy jacket or a navy hat, M2 must then have a navy hat (and can't have a Yellow Hat)
