Re: Diagram

Could someone tell me what type of game this would be considered? 3D ordering? I was very confused about how to diagram it when I read the question and rules!

Re: Diagram

Could someone please attach a diagram for this? On the tracker it classified it as grouping and I had drawn a wonky 3 level 3D ordering set up.

Thanks!

Q11

I was caught on this question because although I was first drawn to B it seemed like the author's argument was about the benefits of education in statutes IN law school- its impact on curricular and cognitive skill development... so learning about them after would be irrelevant aka the argument is &...

Q6

I'm a bit confused about how to approach this game, I just went about doing trial and error which was both time-consuming and led me to the wrong answer!

I feel like the approach should have something to do with the Q before K/N restraint but not sure just what!

Thank you!

Re: Q12 - The government is being urged

Thank you for these explanations. I am having a little trouble with this question as E still somehow feels like an appealing answer. From the stimulus we see that the government is being " urged to prevent organizations from advocating a diet..." and that however, given the parallel exampl...

Re: Q13 - Medical researcher: Scientists compared a large group

I am still having a hard time ruling on D in favor of B here! Argument: 2 equal groups of joggers; 1 stretches before 1 doesn't--> both incurred same number of injuries therefore---> stretching before jogging does not prevent injuries Perhaps my background in exercise physiology is getting in ...

Re: Q15 - Every year approximately the same number of people die

Hello! Thank you for your clarification on this question. I am still a little lost about why E is wrong, Matt said that "(E) suffers from the issue as answer choice (A). This does not discuss death from iatrogenic disease. The argument never suggests that iatrogenic disease would be eliminated,...

Re: Q27

I also chose A instead of E on this one but upon review I noticed why A would be wrong. We are looking for something that was true of the Physics community during the 1930s neglected theoretical developments during the early part of the 1930s it was in 1939 that Meitner "provided the crucial th...

Re: Q18 - It may soon be possible

Hello, I chose D for this one and am having a hard time seeing why it is wrong. It seems to me to be a 2 part conclusion, a society will never accept a switch to paper money because it gives the gov to much power and people are rightly distrustful of governments with too much power D seems to encaps...

Re: Q12 - Our company's mail-order

I am confused as to why B would not work as an answer. We are looking to strengthen the causal link, Mail order sales have increased since change thus change caused the increase... I saw B as strengthening by eliminating another possible explanation for the increase-- perhaps sales increased because...

Re: Q12 - Our company's mail-order

Increased advertising would be an alternative explanation. Ie it was not the fact of the policy change that led to the increase but rather that more customers became aware of the company due to the advertising that happened to coincide with the policy

Re: Q10

I was between A and C on this an initially C sounded better yet I thought 'semi-nomadic' seemed like too far a stretch for inference... We don't know that the Kung are semi-noamdic nor do I think we can claim that description to be synonymous with 'simple societies' as semi-nomadicism was actually a...

Q8 - Traffic Accidents

I got this one right but had it circled as I came down to B and D so thought I would write out a quick explanation of how I thought the question broke down. The discrepancy is that highways which carry the most traffic and are thus congested tend to have the lowest rate of fatal accidents (whereas o...

Re: Q27

I picked C for this am and a little confused by the explanation for why it does not work, you say that " (C) This sounds a LOT like the powerful arguments discussed in psg. B, but there's nothing like this in Psg A." But in passage A doesn't the author 'summarize opposing arguments in orde...

Re: Q20 - Medical reporter: Studies have consistently

This is pretty nitpicky but while I got this question right I was really thrown by the language in the question stem! The stimulus is provided by a MEDICAL REPORTER while the question stem asks us to evaluate the reasoning in the DOCTORS argument.... isn't this an instance of the sort of 'term shift...

Q16 - hares and sunspots

I was a little stumped by this question even upon review, so going to write my thoughts about why the right answer is right but would love some feedback! The argument: In the Lake Champlain area, the populations of hares and their predators behave cyclically; when one increases the other declines wh...
