Re: Fortnightly Logic Challenge #23 - Old Blue Eyes

YES THIS IS AN EDIT! $#%$!!! I was mistaken on #5. The correction is beside it in red. I suck. Atlas LSAT Logic Game Challenge #23 Old Blue Eyes 1. Which one of the following could be the order of auditions, listed from first to last? (A) Jordan, Lewin, Hiroshi, Olin, Marin, Kirkwood, Pan ...

Re: Does LSAC have rule against ripping of small pc of booklet

My theory on these things is it's fine until someone says something. When I compete in fighting events I do what I need until the referee gives me a warning then I just play stupid and apologize. Same thing with here I imagine. I mean its not like you are busting out a home arts kit complete with ru...

Q17 - On the basis of the

This question irritates me. The correct answer is "E" "An inconsistency that, as presented, has more than one possible resolution is treated as though only one resolution is possible." My issue is with "ONE resolution is possible." The questions posits that eithe...

Re: PT35, S1, Q17 - On the basis of the available evidence

Thank you so much for your insight. I chose B initially. I came in looking for an alternate cause. I know they don't preclude the possibility of both working in tandem but since the argument employs a co-ordinating conjunction, "or," I went with it.

Rule 3: Each groomer grooms at least two different types of animals. Rule 4: Nancy grooms a poodle at 10 am. Rule 5: No terrier can be groomed ...

Q19 - Editorialist: Some people argue

This questions sucks. It makes me want to start a forest fire. How do you even go about breaking this down and then how do you justify D? I didn't like any of the choices. I see how the genetically malignant minds of LSAC rationalize D as the correct answer but it's a tough sell. I don't see how the...

PT11, S2, Q22 - Oil company reprsentative

If I had taken this exam I would have raised hell with LSAC. Why is A the right answer? So okay FINE the oil company rep can NOT have more than one motive for cleaning up. His motive is PURELY for wildlife preservation and in fact he HATES oil, is ANGRY at BP and Exxon and is going to go join an ant...

Re: Q22 - Oil company reprsentative

This was one of those questions where I cross off every answer choice and feel tempted to write in my own. I think making my own bubble, calling it F and circling it in would not help though. I understand what you are saying. Since they admitted to ONE motive it makes A work. I guess that's one I'll...

Re: Q24 - The local radio station will

I am a little phased by this question. Generally in Parallel reasoning type questions the correct answer has to display similar allowances as the argument in the question. For instance if a green bird can fly faster than a blue bird since green birds are known to have a crack addiction then the para...

Re: Q6 - Dietitian: High consumption of sodium

Something about this question bothers me. Nowhere in the argument does it say that more Potassium is better. The potassium in fresh fruit may be LESS but more readily bioavailable. Too much Selenium will kill you but 50mcgs a day works as a great antioxidant. If this was a suff assumption me and Q 6...
