Can you explain why E is correct? The first part of the answer looks fine, but I don't understand the last part: "because it misconstrued their relation to existing law." Thanks.

Let me start off by thanking you. I've been a big fan of this board.

I don't completely understand why the answer is E. Is it because E suggests that fungi usually cannot successfully turn back toward parasitism (therefore cannot "evolve" toward parasitism)?

In the answer (C), what do "metals that can be made highly reflective but lose their reflective properties over time" refer to , and what does "a metal that does not similarly lose its relfective properties" refer to? I can't find the specific part of the passage to figure out if...

Can you explain the reasoning in the stimulus and why D is correct? I don't understand why D is an assumption required by the argument. I don't see how negating D harms the argument either.

Hello,

Can someone explain why A is correct, and why C and D are incorrect? And, is the awareness and understanding of "taking into account the variable contexts in which productions are experienced" in the last sentence of the passage crucial to answering this question correctly?
