I feel like this is an example where a common sense approach, rather than dogmatic conditional logic schematics, is a better approach? Several times I tried diagramming the conditional logic, but the normative "should" trips me up and makes it harder to diagram the kind of categorical blac...

Correct answer: (A) X needs to be true for it to follow that Y is the result.

I hate this question more than any other because the answer is so simplistic it looked like a tautology and I discarded it immediately. It truly disgusts me.

How did you all eliminate (A)?

Is it because the stimulus is talking about a choice, and (A) doesn't? Because that seems to be the only difference - the logic is the same (of two options, if one doesn't hold the other must).

I chose (C) because the stimulus directly states that stores that issue coupons charge higher prices to compensate. Since we're only comparing coupons vs no-coupons, there's no reason to think that a store that issues coupons would have significantly lower profits compared to one that doesn't. I und...
