Re: Q3 - The official listing of an animal species

Good point but who cares about Public Campaigns? The argument is about actual red tape (restrictions and stuff). Public Campaigns are irrelevant. D on the other hand has some relevance, albeit a little weak. But this is a Paradox question and when it comes to these type of questions, it seems you ca...

Re: Q19 - Researchers working in Western

The usage of colon means that the phrase preceding it defines what microdiamonds are. That is, microdiamonds are oldest fragments of the earth's early crust that have yet been identified. This means ANY and "ALL" microdiamonds are defined as such. Does any one notice this grammar issue? C...

Re: Q15 - Outsiders in any field often believe

I believe this is why it is a "Most Strongly Supported" and not a "Must Be True". The answer is a bit of a jump. But obviously people in a field will only take solutions from people within the field if the statements are true. Who would want to waste their time testing a futile s...

Re: Q1

If you get to the finish line before anyone else it is still correct to say you came closer than anyone else to winning.

Re: Q26

I believe E is incorrect because it talks about passing on immunities to another being. It's analogous to someone teaching a subject to a student. However, Steele is primarily concerned with someone changing their own self; their DNA (albeit reproductive DNA). This answer would be correct if the str...

Re: Q4 - Many corporations have begun

There is a difference between motivating and boosting motivation which would technically make C correct. However "equally beneficial" is unknown thus making C incorrect.

Re: Q4 - Columnist: A government-owned water utility

I fail to see how you could have anticipated this answer. The best "anticipation" I could have considered was "It is unacceptable to use money for roads if it has been designated for a dam". Which wasn't the correct answer here. Answer B starts off great but ends terrible and E i...

Re: Q5 - During its caterpillar stage

Choice A is correct because the argument is about not being able to make itself unpalatable = extinction. And being that it cannot do it the cycad way, it will become extinct. Choice A fills in the gap that the cycad way is the ONLY way. Whereas B is unnecessary. Maybe they have the agility, maybe t...

Re: Q6

Since it says to weaken the 'claim', not 'argument', we should only need to consider lines 49-51. It is a conditional claim ("Any"), and to weaken a conditional claim, you want to make it seem like something might BE the left side, but NOT BE the right side. I fail to see how this isn't a...

Re: Q26

This is a tough question because on an initial pass, one might think Choice C is talking about a brain scan using the subtraction method which makes this choice incorrect. Assuming a bounded range of 0 to 100, if in the baseline scan, a particular region of the brain is using 99 and in the subsequen...
