Re: Q23 - Eight large craters run

Ok so I actually registered for this forum specifically for this question. My concern with this question, like many others on this forum, has to do with the "No known natural cause" part of answer choice B. I eliminated B because "no known natural cause" would include volcanoes. ...

Re: Q18 - Contrary to Malthus's arguments, human

Can someone explain why 'Malthus's position' in C necessarily refers to his argument (ie premise + conclusion), and not just the conclusion that insufficient food will doom humanity to war, pestilence, and famine? In most use cases I thought a person's 'positions' would refer only to their final ju...

Re: Q16

I thought the LSAT doesn't require having outside knowledge, yet it seems like this question requires us to know the meaning of "non oxidation." I got this question right because I know what oxidation means, but I can see why some people got this question wrong. The biggest problem I have ...

Re: Q9

I went with B, but that's because I didn't know the meaning of the word schematic. Had I known the meaning I would have gotten this question right.

Re: Q8 - Storytelling appears to be a universal

Having a hard time buying into this answer at all. "All" is a very strict word. How can we say that every single culture has these elements? Would D. not be more reasonable? "Storytelling appears to be a universal aspect of both past and present cultures. (C) is supported by the seco...

Re: Q14 - Columnist: Wildlife activists have proposed

I was stuck between B and C but chose C because I thought an advantage to banning the cables would mean MORE animals would be saved than it otherwise would have been.

Re: Q17 - A positive correlation has

This argument's conclusion challenges the notion that the soot causes a certain ailment. Why? Well there are other air pollutants that are in the atmosphere as well. This argument attempts to refute a causal relationship by providing potential alternative causes. Answer choice (C) works to undermin...

Re: Q11 - University spokesperson: Most of the students surveyed

I see you're concern. It DOES hinge on "likely" to be representative. What you want is an answer that sounds more like "fails to establish that the sample of students surveyed is representative of the whole student body" In other words, you're right: there is also a sampling iss...

Re: Q23 - A scientific study provides evidence that crows

I don't agree with answer choice A at all. While I understand why the other answer choices are wrong, answer A does not seem necessary to the question. Why? Because the stimulus said that crows are capable of recognizing threatening people AND can even pass their concerns to other crows. So even if ...
