Re: Q11 - Australia has considerably fewer species

This is how I chose C as the conclusion and not the last sentence.
We know the conclusions are always the author's opinion, and the phrase "this is probably" sounds pretty much like an opinion. Please tell me if this is another way to get to the right answer.
Thank you !

Re: Q17 - Ditalgame Corportation's computer video

I agree with the previous post. I didn't like any choice, but I went with E because it says that this company is copied more than the rest, which means that when the protection is implemented then the game won't be copied. To which I assume it will increase sales, they are being copied all the time t...

Re: Q5 - Area resident: Childhood lead poisoning

I chose E and then I chose B. I'm clearly lost here and I thought of this as somewhat an easy question, I was wrong. I eliminated C because the argument premise states " 25% of this area's HOMES still contain lead paint" and the conclusion " eliminate the lead paint IN THOSE HOMES, ch...

Re: Q4 - Carol Morris wants to own

Hi, I'm only confused with the question stem. "which one of the following if true, provides THE MOST SUPPORT for the industry analysts' prediction?" this sounds to me like MOST STRONGLY SUPPORT QUESTION, and I answered as that. Please, can anyone tell me if there are any major differences ...

Re: Q19 - Anyone who believes in democracy

I got this question right . However, D was very tempting to me. When I went through the explanations I see why my choice B is right but not why D is wrong. I must say, I have a hard time doing conditional in LR under time and that's why most of the time I focus on the stimulus wording rather than tr...

Re: Q13 - Consumers seek to purchase

I need help here please!! B to me it sounds like a premise booster. the premise: "companies that do not offer PRODUCTS that attract consumers ..." Sounds like a repetition of b. I didn't like any of the 5 choices but under time I chose E. E defends the fact that there aren't other reasons ...

Re: Question 1645

I have a question about #1645. is the question stem " which of the following is mentioned as an opposing point to the main conclusion?" a real LSAT question, or is this a question made by manhattan to know how to differentiate premise from conclusion? I'm asking this, because the first tim...

#1781

I did these questions timed . However, I was pretty confident with my answer in this particular question. First of all, I understood the question stem as ID THE CONCLUSION type of question. Please tell me if this is right. From there the conclusion to me is the authors opinion " the new tax bil...

Re: Q8 - Department store manager: There

I was between A and E. Even though A only addresses a part of the premise, and if you negate A, it destroys the premise, which is why I also wasn’t sure about A. It sounded better than E. E to me sounded like a premise booster and also when negate it, it doesn’t destroy the argument, it only contrad...

Re: Q10 - In order to reduce traffic congestion

Hi, I'm still very confused about this question. I was between A and C. when I negate C "the charge SHOULD NOT be implemented as soon as the system is ready" that destroys the argument because is basically telling me that the system won't be implemented. However, the one thing I did not li...

Re: PT 59, S2, Q8 Though ice cream is an excellent source

Hi, I was a little confused with this flaw question as well, since I still think that answer choice E is the most attractive one. I didn't think B was the correct one because you accept premisses as they come and your purpose is to attack, or doubt the conclusion, and that is exactly what E does, it...

Re: Q12 - A theoretical framework facilitates

Re: Q1 - Many doctors cater to

I was confused with the question stem. At first I thought it was parallel, but then I was not sure wether it was an example principle or support principle. However, now I'm more confused because I see you described this one as an necessary assumption. I need to understand which type of question this...

Re: Q19 - Educator: It has been argued

I chose C. I read the question as a principle support question- my understanding for this type of questions was to support (str) the conclusion of the stimulus. But I see in your explanations you are bridging the gap, like an assumption question. I need help understanding the difference between assu...

Grouping twist chapter 13 IN/OUT CLOSED/SUBGROUPS

We know that the majority of IN/OUT grouping games are open with all conditional rules. However, in grouping twists, we learn of those few CLOSED IN/OUT grouping games - the difference here besides knowing the number of elements, its that not all the rules are conditional. Correct? In the first game...

conditional Logic statements

Hi, I’m currently studying with the 3 prep materials from manhattan. Conditional Logic seems to be my weakness. I’m a bit confused with the way MH explains it. For example, I have learned from pw. the "unless equation", which is everything that comes AFTER the “unless” is the necessary, an...
