I took a sector exam on (equ, ineq, & vics) --not my greatest strength.
I looked at the progression on the difficultly questions after I completed the sector. This is was it looked like:
300-500 1/1 =100%
500-600 1/3 = 33%
600-700 3/17 = 18%
700-800 2/5 = 25%
My question is---if I scored a higher percentage on 700-800 than 600-700? Did I get a higher overall score, or does the GMAt find that 18% & 25% as inconclusive and my sector would score between 500-600?
How does the algorithm work?
