i don't see a question anywhere in this post (or in the title of the post). do you have a question to ask about these particular structures?

and where did you get this list? it's a fairly extensive list, so it's probably copied from somewhere. please tell us where you got it (ORIGINAL source -- it's not good enough to name another forum as the source), or we will have to delete it. thanks.

those can be correct, yes...but, as always, this sort of thing depends on context.
moreover, this exam will never REQUIRE knowledge of idiomatic usage, unless that usage is so basic that anyone reasonably familiar with english could reasonably be expected to know it.

so -- as with all questions in this folder -- your question should be tied to a specific GMAT-related problem(s).
if this question actually DOES come from a GMAT-related source item, then please post your question in a new thread (in the appropriate folder, following all the rules for new posts).
