Hello,
I have read in the GRE math review that even numbers are only integers; however, in the book 5 lb. Book of GRE Practice Problems in the question 35 of chapter 15 the book establishes that 2/3 is an even number.
Could you explain why?
Additionally in Wikipedia
"A formal definition of an even number is that it is an integer of the form n = 2k, where k is an integer;[3] it can then be shown that an odd number is an integer of the form n = 2k + 1. This classification applies only to integers, i.e., non-integers like 1/2 or 4.201 are neither even nor odd."
Thanks,
