eBook format

by maraudermap Wed Aug 15, 2012 5:06 pm

I'm thinking of getting the flash cards in the eBook version because I'll be quite mobile in the next year. Does anyone know what format the eBooks (in particular, the flashcards) come in? Is it PDF? Is it a software? Can I use it on iPad or Kindle?

Please help. Thanks a lot.

They come in an Adobe format. You have to download a special Adobe program to read them. However, it is available for mobile phones, so you can read them on the go.

Let me know if you have trouble making it work!

Thank you so much for your help!

So may I just quickly double check - are the files usable on iPad? If so, do I download an app for that? Which app?

Hi. You can use them on an iPad.

When you download the books in your student center there will be directions on how to access the files. You will need an app to read them, but the directions in your student center will direct you to it. If you have any trouble at that time, you can give us a call at 646-254-6279 and our tech support team can help you.

Best,

Its EPUB format, because Adobe digital edition supports only epub, xhtml and pdf format, but only epub is mobile friendly..

That is true. It's actually a really solid format, though the process of getting it up and running is a little annoying. : )
