Geomtry Guide : Problem 2 , page 203.

by divya.1024 Mon Dec 16, 2013 6:56 pm

Hello,

Can anyone please let me know about this problem? All I could think about is the distance formula. However, I believe that it is a wrong approach! How to draw an understanding on this? Can anyone draw some light on this please?

Appreciate the response.
Thanks

Hey Divya,

This is about angles, not lengths, so the distance formula is irrelevant. Really the best way to do it is just draw the two points you know, then put a line for R at x = 7 (because you know that value). Then just draw the triangles and look at them! : )
