improving gre verbal

by rpriya128 Fri Apr 12, 2013 9:55 am

hi,

I am planning to take my GRE in another 2 months. I feel comfortable with math but verbal I don't see any improvement. I read articles and learn words but I am not very confident about the
verbal section. Can you please suggest how to go about this?

I have started reading from Manhattan books latest edition.

thank you.

How rpriya,

We get a lot of questions like this. There is no easy answer to improving your verbal. Go through the books, learn vocabulary words, practice reading in English (Read as much as you can -- newspapers, magazines, novels, etc.). Slowly but surely, you will improve. If English is seriously problematic for you, you could consider getting an English tutor to help you get your reading skills up.

Good luck!
