I have seen this sentence and unable to understand. please tell me the meaning of this sentence.

Where did you see this? And could you put it in context? Was it in a Text Completion, Sentence Equivalence, or Reading Comprehension question? What did they want you to know about it? I ask because I can't see where a phrase like this would ever appear on the GRE (it's meaning is effectively "Don't be sad that I dumped you, because there are plenty of people just like me out there.")
