Study Guide 2, Chapter 7, Hard Pracitce Question Set, #7

by jholc02 Sat Oct 04, 2014 5:36 pm

Don't integers include zero and negative numbers? If this is so, X could be 1 where (x-1) = 0, and would yield a result where x/4 = .25 and therefore quantity A (2) would be less than quantity B (5). However, the answer sheet only account for positive integers and therefore concludes that Quantity B is always larger than Quantity A. Am I missing something or is this a mistake in the book?

Hey JH,

Actually, 0 is divisible by 4, so that wouldn't be allowed.
