PT60, S3, Q13 - Psychologist: Identical twins are

Can you please explain how D attacks the argument? Does it weaken the argument because it shows the opposite of the second premise?

Thank you.

Yep.

Conclusion: Many inclinations are genetic, and not subject to environment.

premise: identical twins separated at birth share many similarities

(D) says "Hey! Wait a minute! Twins NOT separated at birth are totally different from each other!" The choice goes further and offers an environmental reason for it (to differentiate themselves). This counters the conclusion.

Hoping that anybody can correct my thought:

stimulus: gene: same -->many inclination : same

Here's how I eliminate each choice, feel free to correct me:
A people even twins would under change: it might still leave possibility that after the "radical change" the twins would be the same, and it doesn't point out the change is incurred by environmental influence

B high percent same, a few difference: consistent with stimulus, by saying "many" rather than all

C out of scope

D gene: same--> different taste, beliefs= many inclination: ~same, opposite to "many inclinations not subject to changes"

E not identical twin is out of out scope, we only talk identical twin
