Could you pls explain how the answer choice is E when it says in the question L is going before P so L should be on either Wednesday or Monday. I'm confused?

The question gives us the condition LP, so we should write that chunk on our page and then see if we can attach any other rules to that.

Doesn't look like it does. We now have two chunks, though, LP and QG.
Do we know where they're going?

__ __ __ P __ __
...............~Q ~P

Is the LP going 3/4? Maybe, but it's possible that there's more than one P, so we don't know for sure.

However, we know that LP couldn't go to the right of P, since that would place P on Saturday.
And we know that QG can't go to the right of P, since that would place Q on Friday.

So we'll have to get both of those chunks to the left of P, which means we'll have to put LP on 3/4.

Now we have
Q G L P _ _

Who's left? We still need N, and then we need someone to go a second time.

The double can't be G or N, according to the rules.
It can't be P, because then P would either be next to itself in Friday or illegally in Saturday.

So it would have to be L or Q. If it were Q, Q could only go on Saturday.
If the double is L, then it doesn't matter whether it's Fri or Sat.

If we felt like writing out both worlds, it would look like this
Q G L P N Q
and
Q G L P (L, N)

(A) impossible, Q is mon.
(B) impossible, G is mon.
(C) impossible, G is tues.
(D) impossible, L is wed.
(E) sure, that's fine. Q G L P L N doesn't break any rules

Hope this helps.
